New for 2012 are the PHX, PHX-1 and PHX-2 with a choice of bike build options. The Full Carbon PHX (Matt Black with Green Graphics) is currently available in a Shimano Ultegra 6700 build. The Full Carbon PHX-1 (Pearl White with Black Graphics) has two build options: SRAM Force, and Shimano Ultegra 6700. With a frame warranty of 5 years, a frame weight of only 1.4 kg and a carbon fork of just 380 gm the PHX range of framesets are the ideal platform for a fast and responsive bike required for today’s demanding time trials and triathlons.
The PHX frame is made from high strength carbon fibre composite utilising proprietary OCRR technology yields a frameset that is free of flex while absorbing vibration effortlessly. Every tube of the PHX is thin, deep and aero…from the head tube to the seat stays. The top tube is vertically deep for added stiffness. Horizontally, the top tube is very thin.
Not only for aerodynamics but to avoid knee knock. Horizontal drop outs with finger adjustable set screws for easy axel / wheel loading adjusting, replaceable rear derailleur hanger, dual water bottle mounts and full internal cable routing.The forks are full carbon V-1 380 g Aero fork.
