In 1919 when he founded his company, he wanted to produce and refine something as basic and ordinary as steel in such a way that it becomes a product of extraordinary qualities and value. And that is exactly what he succeeded in doing. All around the world Columbus tubes are synonymous with highest quality, stability, lightness and elasticity. Today his tubes are used not only in bicycle frames but also in high quality steel tube furniture and in the aviation industry.

INGEGNERE is a single speed bicycle. Its 50/19 gearing gives it a decent road grip of convincing race bike quality. We use 32mm fast semi-slick tires. The frame is made from Columbus tubes – from steel tubes in their most lightweight, stable and elastic form. Frame geometry now adds elegance and comfort to the ride. In a smooth curve, the fork reaches out a tiny bit further than in road bikes, making the bicycle a little less nervous, yet preserving all its sportive character. The rear equally places the back wheel a tiny bit further away from the centre adding too the unique street smartness of BELLA CIAO INGEGNERE.

The INGEGNERE is available in single speed or Shimano Nexus 3 speed with prices starting from only £799 . The INGEGNERE DUE comes with upgraded components with single speed, Strumey Archer Duomatic 2 speed, Alfine 8 speed or Schlumpf Speed Drive gear options with prices starting from £949.
